10thstep Bring the Stars of Shameless to Ireland

Green Room Promotions approached 10thstep to assist them with the launch of their upcoming year of night life entertainment exclusive to Club Amber, Dundalk.  Eating, sleeping and breathing fun was part of the game plan so it was obvious that we couldn’t wait to be on board!  Our team were set the task of bringing a celebrity to Amber that was in keeping with the Green Room mission of fun filled night life entertainment.  Using our many booking contacts we gave our client access to a host of top name celebrities that were a perfect fit for their requirements.

Setting our sights on the stars of the hit C4 TV show “SHAMELESS” we approached Rebecca Atkinson and Ben Batt who play on and off screen lovers Karen and Joe.  On hearing that it would be Ben’s first ever visit to Ireland we pulled out all the stops to secure the booking for Green Room ensuring we used this as one of our publicity angles.  Because the stars weren’t able to bring their tour manager we happily stepped up to the mark, hosting and managing the entire launch as well as ensuring the celebrities had the time of their lives.

A fantastic night was had by everyone as the celebrity couple spilled secrets about the cast of Shameless in a grilling Q&A session, pulled pints behind the bar and danced the night away with crowds in Amber.  Despite being beaten by a local when he attempted to down a pint of Guinness faster than a Louth man, Ben kept the craic going until the very early hours with his fiancé Rebecca.
