We have all heard the cliché ‘Every picture tells a story’ but some miles better than others and how well they tell that story is another matter.

Have you ever seen a piece of adverting which just got you hooked on the message which the company, product or service was trying to send out? For me I love nothing more than to watch a piece of advertising unfold and hook me, this is the true testament of a successful well thought-out advertisement campaign.

The advertisement needs to tell a story and have just like any good story especially those from childhood the ingredients it needs to work are to have a start, middle and ending. The great TV commercials which we have seen really do stand the test of time because these have been planned and executed in such a way that they engage and captivate their target audience right from the start to the end.

Every advertising campaign needs to tell a story and the right planning from the outset will ensure that your advertising message tells a story and engages your audience. I figured that it would be only fair within the context of this blog entry to share with you some of these advertising campaigns which have hooked me and taking me on a journey. These examples which I have included here leave the viewer intrigued, captivated and ultimately wanted more of the brand.  After watching them need we say anymore?
